Asiatic Orienpet Hybrid Lilies
The "Orienpet" lilies are relatively new to the lily world, produced after years of combining the garden persistence, heat tolerance and color of Trumpet and Aurelian hybrids with the sublime beauty of Oriental lilies. The flower color may vary in Orienpets depending on their complex ancestry and the interaction of many pigments, Orienpet lilies often have more intensely colored flowers in cooler weather. Heat and bright light can lighten their colors. Asiatics grow tall stems with many flowers from small bulbs; larger bulbs of these types are less adaptable to transplanting.
